Large Scale Navigation System with Massively Multi-Agents System

چکیده

Along with the growing number of mobile communication terminals such as cellular phones and car navigation systems that utilizes the global positioning system (GPS), it has become realistic to build a large-scale social system to support human life in cities. As an example, we have proposed a large-scale navigation system for humans by utilizing mobile terminals carried by them [2]. This system enables the personalized guidance for each person in masses of people, rather than broadcasting them uniformed information. To know the behavior of such social systems that include humans, it is desirable to perform proving experiments. However, it is often hard to perform such experiments that include a large number of people in a large area with the size of a city. Instead, it has been proposed to analyze such systems by multiagent simulations where each person is modeled as an agent.
